1.) Prepare the File
a. Start the Tax Cut sofware package and open your tax return file.
b. From the File menu, select Save As.
c. In the Save Tax Return window.
We recommend you use a FILE NAME that begins with 2008
2. Protect the File.
Click to download i the free encryption software at (no charge, never expires) by Cypherix Software. After installing Cryptainer LE (or Cryptainer PE), ENCRYPT the file with a password.

3. Send us the File to taxdocs @ the1040store.com and send a SEPARATE e-mail with your encryption so that Submission Processing at The1040Store.com may access your file. If you wish, you may call 888-760-1040 and provide the file password or fax with your full name to 888-766-1040.
Within about an hour, we will respond with a refund estimate, copies and fee payment instructions. Upon review and acceptance by you, sign and fax back the required pages and we'll e-file the returns right away and provide confirmation from the IRS and state agencies.

Choose the download button above.
Choose "Save" and then click the icon that says "Desktop" then click on the bottom right "Save" button.

Simply save your Turbotax return using the "Save As" option.
(Do not add a password here).

When the "Save Tax Return" prompt appears, click the icon that says "Desktop" then give it a name that begins with 2008 and contains at least your entire last name.

Open the Cryptainer program by clicking on the icon such as the one shown below.

You may need to close the Tips and other windows in Cryptainer to access the "Tools" menu, choose "Encrypt to Send by Email" as shown below.

The program will prompt that it is saving the file as requrest.
|
Seconds later, the program will confirm that the file has been saved and display the location that it was saved to.
|

|
The file should appear on your computer's desktop with an icon like the one below.
|
Finally, use your e-mail program to send the file as an attachment to Efile @ The1040Store.com then a second e-mail with the password to open the file.

Send a separate e-mail that contains the password you created to lock the file. Be sure that message includes at least your complete last name as well as the password.
As an alternative, you may provide this via phone or fax.
